Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)

Have you or someone you care for been told they may need a new heart valve?
Severe Aortic Stenosis & Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)

Severe aortic stenosis is a very serious problem. People who have developed conditions from severe aortic stenosis have about a 50% chance of living at 2 years and 20% at 5 years without aortic valve replacement.1
Today, there are multiple treatment options for aortic stenosis.

For people who have been diagnosed with severe aortic stenosis and are at intermediate or greater risk for open heart surgery, another option is available—transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR). This procedure can also be referred to as transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI). It is a less invasive procedure that does not require open heart surgery.
